Pros
The mission. Mightier is on the forefront of both emotional health and delivering a model for teaching skills through video games. They're a science/research-first company, delivering a quality product. Mightier has also put diversity & inclusion into the core tenets of how they operate rather than just to "check the box". Mightier looks to serve ALL families and has taken a hard look into their team, processes, messaging, and content to better understand where they are falling short. They're investing resources (actual time & money) into making sure that reigns true.
The community around Mightier. Mightier's families are incredible. I'm inspired hearing customers share their story of their child(ren)'s growth while playing Mightier games. There are also talented clinicians that Mightier partners with that advocates for using games to learn emotional regulation skills.
The people. Mightier is driven by a small, resilient team with very lofty goals. Because Mightier is an emotional health company, the employee's emotional health is front-of-mind as we work together and grow.
Opportunity. Opportunity to work with experts, become a leader in an emerging market (emotional health tech), and opportunity to be on the "ground floor" of a quickly growing company.
Cons
There have been some big shifts in the leadership team over the past couple of years, which has been difficult to navigate. It's been a long road to find the right people to lead the next stage of growth, but I'm feeling really confident in where we've ended up.
