Pros
Solid talent found within the company and a handful of genuinely excellent managers. Has an exemplary Chief Operating Officer. Staff are friendly, hardworking, and idealistic. A sense of fulfillment and intrinsic reward in doing work that serves others with special needs. Interaction with consumers/clients and their families is highly rewarding. Often fun environment and good rapport among colleagues. Potential to revive into a great company.
Cons
Person at the helm is a nice lady but generally absent until there is a problem, then uses industrial-age (fear-based) techniques to deal with them. She rarely follows-through on projects and promises. Probably once was a good leader who is no longer all that (genuinely) interested in the company or her own personal growth.
