Pros

Other dedicated boots on the ground folks who help and support those they serve.

Cons

The Partent Company that now "owns" the Milestone subsideriary is horrid. This is Partners For Quality. They don't care at all about their employess and they are the definition of Greed and the C Suite staff talk a good game but are NOT what they pretend to be. This is sad as Milestone was one of the top organizations in the county. Now they are corrupt and there is a lot of abuse within in it's structure. We are dealing with people and this is the most inhumane company I have come across.

Pros

I've been with Milestone Centers for over 10 years and the best things about the agency are its employees and its mission. I can only speak from an administrative standpoint as I do not work in direct care with clients, but many administrative, executive and supervisory staff have stayed with the agency for decades. Milestone is also very passionate about its mission of inclusion and equality for people with behavioral health and developmental challenges.

Cons

Milestone Centers has been around for nearly 50 years. While that does illuminate the success and passion of the agency and its employees, it also drives the mentality of, "well, we've always done things this way." Change and adaptation can come at a glacial pace. The agency does not receive strong support from its board of directors. The turnover rate for direct care staff is exceedingly high, underlining the poor pay rates for the workers that are truly the most important in delivering the agency's mission.
