Pros
Relatively competitive pay, excellent benefits (when you get to use them)
Cons
Triage is the heart and soul of this program and we get virtually no support. We are told to report to a consulting supervisor group who, often times, doesn't have appropriate answers to give and will instead say something to the effect of, "I'm sorry but I have nothing of value to add to this matter. Please ask your peers." This would be fine if we weren't held accountable to each and every decision we make, and if we didn't have the urgency of a caller on the line. Also, many, many service members and their families are horribly impolite and disrespectful. Lastly, don't expect to be able to use your days. They go quickly and you will find it a struggle to take off even with several months of notice.
