Toxic abusive environment, avoid if you have other options - Associate Lawyer Miller Thomson Employee Review

Very toxic abusive work environment, a lot of turnover and gossip. Not a good environment for women and people of color. Employees are treated like numbers, they often fire people without cause and do layoffs. Do not reward performance but rather who is friend with management. All the bad reviews you find here and online are true, they are not exaggerated. Partners are condescending, disrespectful and willing to throw others under the bus to protect themselves. Assistants who do not want to work. They like to pretend they are BigLaw but are not. Good stepping stone if you don’t have other options until you can find better.
