Pros
Benefits, steady paycheck, room for growth (if you know the right people and aren't in Customer Service), there really isn't much else.
Cons
No one seems to know what is going on. The management team is a cliche that steers away from the important topics and expects their subordinates to do the near impossible tasks with minimal staffing. Hiring a contractor (who average about 1+ year of temping) permanently is a 1 in a million shot. Once a change is implemented (typically without announcement) and learned, they will change it again. There are some set guidelines but if the Sales group complains, they will break every rule (legal or corporate) to appease them. The bonus/raise structure is awful. Unless you're senior managment, don't expect more than a 2% raise. Even if you are the top performing rep, you won't get more than 2.5%.
