Energy Vampires - Anonymous employee Mills James Employee Review

This review applies to the Cincinnati/Covington Office. In my experience, the work environment at this company felt stale and depressing. The culture was cold and lacking in open communication. A hideout for energy vampires. I personally experienced what felt like favoritism and inconsistent treatment- allowing certain flexibilities for some employees and not others. We are all adults. No one should be looked at sideways for taking a 15 min coffee run on a slow day. When you work at a creative shop like this, you shouldn’t be expected to sit at your desk and wait for an email to jolt you into action. Particularly when you make yourself available to clients around the clock and in non business hours. If you’re the type of person who likes to work independently, you’ll feel stifled here. Micromanaged. If you’re considering employment here, I’d encourage you to weigh your options and find a production house whose environment earns more than 2 stars. Where there is smoke there is fire..and something is very wrong here.
