Pros

I joined Mindmade at the beginning of the pandemic after my previous company started cutting salaries and using profit losses as an excuse to withhold bonuses. That is why I left and joined Mindmade. To be honest, my experience at Mindmade has been completely different. Joining Mindmade was a turning point for me. I was able to keep my job during the pandemic/MCO, and the company provided me with financial stability and security. I received the salary and bonuses I deserved, which changed my perception because I realized that as long as I perform well in the company, I can earn a better salary, receive higher bonuses, and even get promoted (which many company couldn't offer). The management has been fair and appreciative of hard work, which truly restored my faith in good employers. The teams here are extremely friendly, helpful, and incredible. They are not just co-workers but friends who are always ready to help. We work intensely and passionately, but we also know how to have fun together. When it’s time to work, everyone is dedicated and focused, and when it’s time to have fun, we know how to enjoy ourselves.

Cons

Of course, there are also cons, primarily just being "busy," but I believe every agency is the same. If the company is not busy, it means it is not earning money, which I truly understand. Because of this, I have built a strong and impressive portfolio here, as the company works hard to bring in diverse and exciting brands. The company's commitment to taking care of its employees is evident, and I feel valued here. They strive to keep every employee engaged and supported. I wouldn't consider leaving this company for another creative agency unless I wanted to switch fields or industries.

Pros

Don’t think there’s any pros in this company. Just avoid if you can

Cons

The working environment heavily depends on favoritism. If you’re not part of the lady boss’s “favorite circle,” growth and recognition become very difficult. Decisions often feel biased rather than performance-based. Management style is extremely micromanaged. Almost every small decision requires the boss’s approval, and directions can change suddenly depending on her mood, making it hard to work efficiently or plan properly. The company also lacks proper operational structure. There is no qualified IT personnel — IT matters are handled by an older staff member with none actual IT knowledge, which causes unnecessary delays and confusion. Communication processes are outdated and disorganized. Everything relies on WhatsApp chats, with no proper project management or scheduling tools. Even meetings are not properly scheduled through calendars, and staff have to manually remind each other one by one. HR processes are also very weak. HR responsibilities are mainly handled by a PA without proper HR training or professional knowledge, leading to inconsistent processes and lack of professionalism in employee management.

Pros

• I was entrusted with managing multiple client portfolios, which gave me solid exposure to real-world campaigns. • WFH flexibility. • Annual company trips.

Cons

• The culture heavily leans on repeated “we are family” and “work hard, play harder” slogans. Instead of motivating employees, it often feels forced, outdated, and disconnected from the actual work environment. • There is no clear HR structure, and professional boundaries are inconsistent. The internal team responsible for admin and HR matters often communicates in a way that comes across as harsh or confrontational, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Open dialogue is not encouraged, and feedback is frequently taken personally. • Promises around growth opportunities and compensation adjustments are commonly mentioned but rarely followed through. “Budget” is a frequent explanation used, which contributes to employee frustration and a sense that career progression is not prioritised. • Some members of upper management are widely known to be difficult to collaborate with, contributing to high turnover within certain departments. The leadership approach varies significantly across teams, and this inconsistency can greatly affect an employee’s overall experience. • Processes and structures are not what you’d expect from a digital or social-led agency. The lack of clear frameworks results in employees frequently needing to figure things out independently. Those seeking strong mentorship or structured development may find the environment challenging. In general, the organisation would benefit from modernising its leadership approach, improving communication standards, and building a more consistent and supportive culture. Strong leadership requires fairness, clarity, and professionalism - elements that are currently lacking.
