Pros
Some of the team members are lovely to work with. There's a lot of collaboration and camaraderie among the team members. Also, the organization growth has been high in the past couple of year, giving passionate individuals an opportunity to grow professionally.
Cons
There's innumerable cons to working at MSDUK and don't join if you care about you mental health. I can understand the CEO's perspective at times, however, the rest of the senior leadership is absolutely incompetent. They don't know how to manage a team. Their behaviour shows extreme pettiness and toxicity. Also they lack essential people skills. The leadership does not acknowledge good work and kill all the zeal for its employees even if the employee is extremely passionate. Keep in mind that the salary is below average than the industry standards. There's a culture of exploiting the employees by overburdening them with extreme amounts of work. There is a lot of blame shifting and office politics. I have personally seen leadership conspiring against certain employees and made them feel like sh*t. There's so many people who have left in the past one year and majority of the team is just looking for the next opportunity to get out. The management needs to respect its employees or else even the macro factors of supplier diversity that has helped them grow will not be enough for MSDUK's growth. If I have to summarise this with key words- toxic culture, destroyed mental health, bad senior leadership, below average pay, overwork, no people skill. If you do have bread on the plate- Do not join. Apply for more jobs.
