Pros

They pay you very well to keep you quiet.

Cons

False transparency. Superficial culture. HR is there to protect the business, not the employees. They check the boxes great for inclusivity, but it's all superficial. Every employee survey even shows that LGBTQIA+ and those with disabilities don't feel seen or heard despite having ERGs. They don't promote on quality of skills or performance, they only care about soft skills and how others see you. If you're not willing to play the game, you probably should work somewhere else. It's 100% politics after they pushed out their former partner.

Pros

I was at MN for five years and learned a lot about corporate comms! They certainly train and invest in early career employees.

Cons

Unrealistic workload, no work-life balance. Management wants you to post in a thousand little Slack boards instead of doing your work.

Pros

Pays well and recognizable clients to put on your resume, seems like an OK place to work if you navigate the internal politics correctly and are well liked.

Cons

Internal perception matters more than client work. Employees at almost every level are treated as expendable. Zero consequences for the bad behavior of senior leaders.
