Pros

My exit strategy and a great job market.

Cons

Notice a pattern of positive reviews after each negative one? It's an intentional and sad attempt at damage control. In typical MVP fashion, we like to brush the truth under the rug. Before you give up your soul and work for this company, reach out to former employees. Would they recommend working here? Bring popcorn. It will be be as entertaining as a true crime podcast. It's shocking to me that MVP treats employees so poorly. These same people are customers, as well as potential promoters or adversaries in a very small industry. MVP is trying to sell so investors can get their big payouts. Meanwhile, they're keeping toxic leadership at the helm and cost cutting so it doesn't look 'unstable' for potential buyers. This strategy is openly shared by senior leaders. The executive leadership team is inept and some have been promoted recently into roles they would never qualify for in highly functioning organizations. Obnoxious flirting around the CEO, toxic bullying and immature behavior is the norm here that would never be tolerated in most organizations. Morale is LOW. There's been a lack of honesty and transparency around cuts and reasons why employees suddenly 'disappear'. Doctors in leadership positions aren't held accountable for their own unethical behavior because they're the bread and butter of the business. That is made very clear. Jobs are being cut all over the place and remaining employees are left picking up unreasonable workloads. Ignore the catchy slogan, MVP puts profits over people. Period. The troubles here are far beyond the CEO's abilities and control at this point. Again, they're trying to sell, so they're cutting cost and trying to position well for a buyer. That's all they care about at this point.

Pros

The only pro I have are that the clients are friendly

Cons

Insurance packages are expensive for even low tier. The company does nothing for poor management of hospital. PTO is based of accrual and as a full time (40 hours a week) employee I get 2 hours of PTO every MONTH. There is no work life balance with this company. They continue to raise prices so you have frustrated clients 24/7. A simple nail trim is almost $70. This company is more focused of the making money than the wellbeing of their clients and staff.
