Is this your company?

It's no coincidence that MLG stands out from its 'competitors' - New South Wales MitchelLake Group Employee Review

Pros

When you can have a conversation with a candidate, client, contact, family or friend and be able to tell story about why we do what we do, their reactions are the polar opposite to any other recruitment company that I know of in Sydney. The fact that our clients see us as true partners rather than 'job-takers' speaks volumes about not only our network and reputation in the market, but it also reinforces that we believe innovation is at the heart of our future. The culture here is amazing and everyone is trusted and accountable for their own output. Management provide individuals with a great platform to make the most of their skills and interests. Team building exercises are always brilliant and training events and opportunities are available if you would like them!

Cons

With the business having more of a 'flat structure' this means that individuals must be able to take feedback and provide feedback to others - this is not an environment that suits everyone so it has been tricky for the business to hire the best kind of culture fit.

Pros

Unlimited PTO, super collaborative teams, leave-your-ego-at-the-door environment, laid back but helpful managers, fun office events, and an outstanding group of people that you enjoy seeing everyday. A recruiting agency that truly does not feel like an agency at all; they have done an excellent job creating a strong culture of fun meshed with the ability to grind when needed. Plenty of room to grow and learn for people who are just starting out in recruiting. Good opportunity to work with some well-known technology companies and VC firms.

Cons

Start up environment = not everything has a formal structure, but this also creates plenty of room for improvement when people take the initiative to change things. Internal changes take place often so this is not a place for someone who enjoys monotony or needs rigid structure in their day to day.
