Pros
I really liked the mission when I was recruiting. Salary is fine (the head of People was fair, but she left). Work-life balance is good (no accountability helps this). Many people are very smart, nice, good team players.
Cons
I have an interest in making this company succeed, but I'm just too demoralized to care anymore. Investors might get impressed by tech, but anything interesting was actually done by people who left years ago. CEO is so out of touch with what's going on in the company, more of an ego-driven social climber than someone who actually cares about leading the company. Morale is really low and a lot of people are actively trying to leave (even during COVID). Lots of annoying and distracting politics exacerbated by leadership. I came here to do good research for a good cause, and now can't wait to leave. Scared to think of the bad habits young people will learn here. This is not normal.
