Pros

Spirited and talented group of young designers, writers and digital team members who put a lot of heart and time into what they do.

Cons

Lack of transparency in communication from CEO/COO, lack of communication in general from leadership, although there are "no offices, no doors" at Moose, there are plenty of closed door conversations. Expect to work very long days, evenings, weekends. If you love what you do, that aspect is ok, and the team is generally fun. If you want work-life balance, Moose may not be your best bet.

Pros

Moose is a really great place to grow, and the opportunities for cool projects and advancement definitely exceeded my expectations. If you're driven and thrive in places with less rigid structure, you'll likely do well here. The culture is also really unique. Beautiful office space (while still allowing for WFH flexibility), lots of fun team building events/happy hours, tons to get involved in (e.g. DEI committee, culture committee, book club, rec sports teams, etc.) They've also recently started investing even more in their employees by revamping their health insurance/benefits, parental leave, PTO, debt relief programs, etc.

Cons

Like any small ad agency, teams tend to be lean. So a few times a year, the workload can get a bit intense. But I never felt like management dismissed any concerns when I mentioned feeling stretched thin, and I didn't regularly work long hours. The client type is also a bit limited, mostly alcohol, cigar, and finance, so you can get burnt out on it after a while if you're not super passionate about the verticals. But they do a good job of moving you around when you get bored to try to keep things fresh!
