Pros

Unique opportunity to work in areas other retailers do not do. Market street for example. Online. Great on boarding process, very professional. The tech that has been invested in, such as optic cameras are in principle fantastic for availability.

Cons

Terrible training. Unrealistic expectations. No regard to WLB or appreciation when going over and above. Dictate days off and when you must work, Xmas eve and boxing day. No day is sacred. Huge lack of investment in maintenance leading to huge issues with refrigeration, tonnes of waste, Constant communication through many many chat threads and many calls with new information daily, with several changes in direction weekly are overwhelming and impossible to keep up with while so much money is cut from payroll. A lot of management positions are leaving or considering it as its a poor environment to be in. If any issues are happening in one store then others are forced to help by sending colleagues with no notice and no regard to the needs of your own store. The heart of many parts of the operation has been ripped out and stores are barely surviving. 7 day weeks and 70-80 hours minimum are often required yet not recognised or appreciated.
