Pros

+ Good work life balance (as long as you're willing to refuse being voluntold to do things) + unlimited pto

Cons

+ terrible salary across the board and merit bonuses are a joke that don't come close to making up the difference one would make at any other company this size (this is especially true at senior levels, where you start to be forced to pull hours outside of 9-5 for the amount of money one makes as an SDE1 at most companies these days) + bigotry of all kinds is very common depending what department you find yourself in (over my time in the company I heard everything from a minority coworker's name mocked to his face to rampant misogyny and transphobia) + probably varies across the company but the tech stack is incredibly antiquated in spots, to the extent that I worked on code that was written before I was born (sometimes by people who were still with the company)

Pros

I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

Cons

That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.
