Pros

Pros for the company are somewhat mixed. See Cons

Cons

Good company to work for but their loyalty is not there. Company is doing very good, financially. We've been told that this is true because of the hard work and dedication each employee has provided and at each quarter we are asked to continue and improve. Yet Motorola Solutions has decided to move into a different direction ( I don't think that I can say what that direction is at this time). As a result, there is less of a need for hardware teams and it seems that the dedication that each person has given to the Company means very little. The CEO seems to only think of the bottom line and his pocket, not of his employees. I won't be surprised if he comes out smelling like a rose. Simply put, the Company does not look out for their employees anymore.

Great work environment and great people. Flexibility to make your own decisions and steer the organization the way you see fit.

Cons

Constantly connected to the job, even after hours. Hard to disconnect.

Pros

I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

Cons

That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.
