Pros
The university itself is a wonderful environment to be in. The lab I work at is filled with highly intelligent and approachable academics doing some highly interesting and cutting-edge work which has allowed me to prosper. IT department is always easily contactable and helpful. Lab is stocked with sophisticated equipment.
Cons
Administration issues can be one of the most highly frustrating parts of this university. Luckily we have a receptionist who can organise and sort out most issues for us. Their workday pay system is great when it works but is hard to sort out if you have any issues due to the convoluted and clunky ticket system.
