Pros
Gratis and free goods order are nice Great coworkers and managers (at my store, I haven’t heard great things about other stores) Creative freedom, can have fun makeup, coloured hair, piercings and relatively lenient dress code. Good products.
Cons
Low pay with very high responsibilities Targets are ridiculously high so rarely get paid commission if at all. Little to no room for growth. Very high turn over rate. Can’t have basically any unavailability and will get flagged for it if you do. Must work holidays (the whole of November and December are “black out periods”) and be available weekends. Higher ups make it very hard to take annual leave. Generally doesn’t feel like the company or higher ups care about you.
