Pros
Ability to make own schedule, flexibility if want to include personal events within the scheduled work day, as long as all patients are seen.
Cons
Pay is per visit so overall reimbursement is low for the amount of time spent. Unorganized in terms of assignments and providing supplies to adequately care of patients. Supplies are locked up on the weekend, so if they are not provided adequately patients must go without or nurse has to purchase with own funds and then get reimbursed. Territory too large affecting bottom line for reimbursement.
