Pros
Regular working hours and good payroll services, plenty of in-house training and development courses to attend. generally a fair physical working environment.
Cons
I had difficulty finding 20 words for the Pros section. The NHS often pays lip service to requirements for employees and expects staff to put up with poor conditions and not complain. More and more courses are now online these are compulsory yet you are not given the time or access to workstations to complete them, it used to be much better when time was booked out of your diary to attend a course. Poor morale of staff and inadequate resources are major problems. Managers do not lead by example it is one rule for them and another for the staff yet they should ensure that they are beyond reproach.
