Pros

- If you have the patience to work with mediocrity and gamble your career with lots of politics, this is the best place for you - Ideal place to take put your career on a stand still - Lack of leadership across the board makes it easy for true leaders to shine

Cons

- After acquiring Dell Services, the company is going through major changes. Lots of re-orgs without careful thought on impacting clients - Company culture is non existent; highly evident lack of respect amongst teams and leaders - No work-life balance. It’s a typical IT / BPO shop with tons of folks offshore. Idea is to underbid contracts and then make it the program team’s problem to deliver - Overly matrix organization with no clear ownership - Not a lot of sharp people to work with. Most people have been here for years and will never go anywhere else, because no one would hire them.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
