Pros

1. Job security is there as lot of people are on bench for quite a long time. 2. Flexible work timings.

Cons

1. If you are coming from a big organization you ll not like Nagarro's culture as they mostly work in staff augmentation mode. 2. Projects are mostly client managed and team size is like 2-3 people per project so lack of team collaboration. Quality work is mostly done by the client's team. 3. If you are joining as a lead or at a higher role with an aspiration of managing and handling a team then this is not the right organization as you will be treated as a developer only. 4. Getting into a project is not an easy task as RM sometimes send you non relevant proposals and you have to accept the proposal unwillingly else a denial will be tagged on your name. 5. Once you get a proposal then the project team takes the interview and it's level is so high that one feels it is better to take the interview in some other company.

Dear colleague, As you know, we have ruled out internal project interviews for people who have joined in the last 6 months or those who are new to the industry. But we still have clients who want to meet and even screen the people they will be working with. We work in several different formats. Maybe 5-10 percent of our business is indeed staff augmentation, typically with strategically important clients only. But a client person having a PO and/or architect role on a project doesn’t make the work staff augmentation for us. We can’t expect a client to hand over, eg, a major flight planning system for us to develop end to end just on our own! Most of our clients are also technical and don’t want to be reduced to just marketing and sales teams. I fully agree with their thinking. Personally, I don’t think anyone would pay Nagarro’s billing rates for staff augmentation alone. A lot of Nagarro processes and capabilities (eg through the COEs) are always at play. That’s what makes projects succeed and that’s what clients pay for.

Pros

Very flexible and good for work/life balance. Insurance is fully paid for by the company and doesn’t come out of your check which is a pro.

Cons

For this position, your employment only goes as far as billable hours go. If they are running low on projects, they will give you a 2 weeks notice to look for a project within the company and HR claims they will help you, but in my experience they did not.
