Dear colleague, I am really sorry to read your post. It does happen that some managers are not in line with the company's stated and lived culture. Further, in some areas we do not have the scale to give people a choice of who they want to work with.
I would venture, however, that in general we are good organization. But in the end the experience that you have is the experience that matters, so I take it that there is still some work to do to align managers to the company's ethos.
By the way, we do take exit interviews and I do get the summarized reports every week. However, most people aren't frank in the exit interviews. Incidentally, we are rolling out an HR Management System with KPMG with a lot of special design to take are of individuals in a way that no solitary manager can sabotage it.
Thanks again for your feedback. Feel free to write to me directly as well.
