No real room to advance for attorneys. Management is ineffective and out of touch, with decisions made by those bereft of recent applicable experiences. Decisions often seem arbitrary and capricious, born of whimsy. At worst, decisions seem born of spite and hubris. Sexism is apparent, especially with respect to younger female associates (coming from a male). In the end, systemic issues and firm culture overwhelm the upside.
