Pros
I'm a developer of e-commerce web applications. The people I work with are courteous, professional and easy to deal with. Local management is very reasonable and understanding about things like deadlines, appointments and work schedule. For example, I'm a night owl and I like to come in to work late and stay late. If I have a heavier workload on some days and want to take my work home I can do that, too. As long as I get my work done, they don't care, at least in my current role. This flexibility of work schedule may not apply to all roles, but it does to mine and at least several other roles. I also know that many workers in the IT department don't come in to the office at all some days, as do I occasionally. I stay at home for the day maybe once every couple of weeks and work from there. My manager doesn't have a problem with that. He's a really nice guy and knows I'm working hard and producing good work, and that's all he cares about.
Cons
No cons I've experienced so far, at least with management at my location. I don't know about senior management though, since I haven't had to deal with them yet.
