Pros

"Working at National Life Group has been a fulfilling experience for several reasons. One of the standout perks is the generous amount of paid time off offered, which allows for a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, the company encourages giving back to the community by providing paid volunteer time off, empowering employees to make a positive impact beyond the workplace. The benefits packages are above average, offering coverage that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement plans. This level of support extends to paid educational opportunities, where employees are encouraged to continuously develop their skills and advance their careers. What sets National Life Group apart is its commitment to fostering growth within the company. There's ample room for advancement, with opportunities for career development that empower employees to reach their full potential. Whether you're just starting out or looking to climb the corporate ladder, National Life Group provides the resources and support needed to succeed."

Cons

No incentives for remote workers to visit the company offices, as they did away with their summits this year.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
