Pros

-Good Snacks -Lots of learning to be had -Fast paced so you'll never be bored... (Also a con because it's always so stressful) -Some coworkers are pretty fun to be around -Social events are nice to relieve stress (believe me you'll need it) -HR and the female manager were very patient, open, and understanding. -Everyone is pretty helpful when you have questions.

Cons

-VERRRY micromanaging. If they had a motto it would be 'control is better than trust.' Always looking over your shoulder and second-guessing everything you do. -They say there is room for growth, but you just get more responsibility with no pay increase. -Pay is low (the ads posted seem nice but they probably won't offer you that. Unless you have 10+ years of experience and degrees in the field. ) -A few very annoying coworkers that made me dread every second spent there. -Everyone hates their job but some are just too comfortable to leave. -Weekly meetings to talk about every ticket and basically how you're doing them all wrong. Owner is always right and knows everything and you're obviously inferior. -Owner will always side with the customer and throw you under the bus. -No chance to work remotely even when 99% of your work is remote. This is because he doesn't trust you, going back to the first point here. -Some bad security practices but won't change them because it's too much work. -Owner talks to you like you're a child. -No accountability for mistakes since everyone is always blaming everyone else so they don't get in trouble. (even if it wasn't their fault)

Pros

Can't think of anything off the top of my head

Cons

I’m pretty sure I took over for the "great for experience" person below in that job position. They stated that the company is willing to let you emphasize and develop the skills you choose. I didn't see that at all which is why I believe they might have just started out in the field. My job was basically repetitious with technologies I worked with for years. Anything advanced I was not allowed to work on and not even given a chance so as to improve my skill sets. Basically this was a dead end job. It was understood by my colleagues I worked with in this tiny office filled with paranoia that the management hires outside of the company and there was basically no advancement from within. The first opportunity I had I ran from this place as fast as I could. If you're reading this you should too.
