Pros

Some people get to work remotely.

Cons

Poor pay rate for position. Steal all unused PTO on January first. Poor management. VERY stingy. Won't even pay for small tools that are required to do the job. Insane turnover rates. I'm on my 5th manager in 4 years. The ENTIRE C suite has turned over twice. One department had nobody in the senior position when I started and 3 have quit since.

Pros

Great work-life balance Great small perks Beautiful office with walking trail Great onsite amenities, including a Nurse Practitioner, Chiropractor, and Counselor. Great opportunities for cross-functional collaboration.

Cons

Management on this team was the primary issue. There was a clear and consistent pattern of favoritism, selective accountability, and uneven expectations. Certain employees were closely scrutinized and coached to an excessive degree, while others were allowed significantly more flexibility. This created an environment that felt targeted, discouraging, and, at times, isolating. Despite receiving recognition for strong performance, I experienced heightened monitoring and criticism that did not feel aligned with my actual contributions. The inconsistency in how expectations were applied made it difficult to succeed, as the standard often seemed to shift depending on the individual rather than the work itself. Turnover on this team was extremely high, and from my experience, it was not due to the role but rather the management approach. Multiple employees either left or were managed out within a relatively short period of time, which speaks to a larger pattern rather than isolated situations. There were also repeated instances where leadership made comments about team dynamics and preferences that felt unprofessional and exclusionary. At times, the environment felt less like a workplace and more like a clique, which undermined collaboration and created unnecessary tension. Overall, the role itself had strong potential, but the leadership style and team culture ultimately made it difficult to feel supported, valued, or set up for long-term success.
