Great job for growth withing a new and growing company. Hands on management for the top down.I worked for Nelson brothers for a year and was able to learn and grow within the company. I was given the opportunity to use my skills and my interests to lead several projects. When I first started I knew this was a place that would be great to learn more about business and the daily operations that go on constantly. I was asked what what thought I could bring to the company and I was given the chance to prove myself, not many places will give you the chance to do that and trust you to prove yourself. I loved that this company cares about you as an individual and wants you to grow. I was able to learn much of what I needed to be successful from a great mentor in the company Lydia Robertson. She listened to my ideas and gave me the tools to implement what I felt would help the company. It is hard to find people that work as hard and care as much as she does. I was also given the opportunity to meet with Owner Pat Nelson, who was willing to not only sit down with myself but with all those who worked alongside me. I knew at this time that this is a place where everyone wants each other to be successful.I was given one on one direction and and advice, not only on how to be successful at this company, but with anything I choose to go on too. I am proud to say I worked for this company and am glad to have been giving the chance to learn so and be apart of such a great team and atmosphere.
Cons
Communication was tough at first from the top down, but was quickly fixed and is now organized. Job is fasted paced, but if you work hard you will do great.
