Pros

There has been great people to work with that actually care and try to make this company great. Unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, this company is broken.

Cons

Everything from unpaid bills, employees don’t get paid promised commissions or bonuses, constant finger pointing on what you’re doing wrong, lack of communication, lack of leadership and unethical/unprofessional work environment. Nelson Partners is a very toxic work place that expects you to work 24/7 and Pat Nelson feels you aren’t doing enough, he will lay you off and call it a “reconstruction”. Nobody lasts in the company and that’s the sad truth. There has been amazing employees work for this company and all have been laid off or left because of the toxic work environment. This company cannot be fixed regardless of who they hire because the problem is the CEO, not other employees.

Pros

Your voice is heard.the company is always trying to improve. Innovative and they try new ways of improving the performance of the properties. Overall communication with corporate is great!

Cons

Old negative reputation trying to overcome that in some markets. There are just generally hateful people in the world that would rather kick you than help you up.

Pros

One cannot list a lot of pros about a workplace where everyone is quitting quickly, and no one wants to stay for long.

Cons

Employee burnout and employee turnover are awfully high here. No one wants to work for a company where people are jumping ship and getting away. This review will mention every reason people do so. The first reason why people quit is the terrible workload. Each employee is expected to be on the clock 24 by 7. It leads to the next reason, the worst work-balance, as employees get no family time. Another reason people are quitting within a few months is the unpaid commissions. No one wants to work for free, and the arrogant leadership doesn't seem to understand what employees want. They are just doing whatever they want, and however they want it. Overall, you will be miserable here. Please avoid that by not joining this company at all.
