Pay - The only reason to work here is that you may make a decent salary.
Cons
I worked for Nelson Brothers/Nelson Partners at the executive level for more than a year. There are far too many cons to list. Most importantly, the CEO is the worst person I've ever worked for. I'm posting this as a service to potential future employees. Read all of the reviews about this company (and its predecessor Nelson Brothers). All of the negative reviews are absolutely true and they don't even paint a complete picture of how terrible this man is to work with/for. Any positive reviews are from employees who were asked to write them by the owner, and who were almost universally terminated or left on negative terms within a few months of leaving the reviews. I personally know virtually everyone who left a positive review. They would not say the same things today. If you decide to take the leap anyway, prepare for a non-stop barrage on your self-esteem and dignity, never ending cash shortages and complete lack of strategic direction, along with every other negative professional experience you can imagine. Negotiate every detail up front and make sure it is in your employment letter. No verbal promises will be kept. Assuming you actually make it more than a year, the clock will start on your remaining employment. When you are terminated, which you inevitably will be, don't expect severance pay or anything more than what is legally owed. The CEO will invent reasons to fire you for cause. I know this sounds extreme. In reality, it is probably not extreme enough.
