      Pros

      Competitive Pay "Family" type environment, with great coworkers New challenges arise frequently Personable Owner and Management, if you take the time to grow that relationship Tons of room for promotions, and job enhancements Fantastic work/life balance, this comes from the owner.

      Cons

      Frequent new challenges could be considered a con by some, but it is the nature of the industry. First Appearances No bonuses/perks Manufacturing environment/culture may not be for everyone

      Pros

      Modernizing their CAD system over the next 2 years. Steady work load most of the time, every couple years Dept cuts because of slow sales. Nice mixture of personality in the Dept. Becoming more employees friendly (more flexible work hours).

      Cons

      Eng. and management don’t think of shop floor people as a resource for product improvements. Needs more employees’ training. Management and IT dept thinks’ they know how a dept will use new tools.
