Pros

Great people, great networking, great learning environment, fantastic benefit. It is very much a place where if you know what you want to learn and how you want to grow they can help make it happen.

Cons

HR hurts the business from getting top talent. HR is there to protect the company, I get that. However , the whole "rule" about no counter offers and that you can only give an employee a cap raise despite them going truly above and beyond their pay grade leaves a bad taste in most people's mouth. We have a saying as employees "you have to leave and come back to get around HR and get the pay/raise/promotion you deserve." Other con is everyone has a "lay off" mentality.

Pros

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Cons

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
