Pros

Being a storage company is the first advantage. Storage is evolving technology. So, somewhat good place to be. Work is neither too much nor less. They allow working from home. I think, there is a good work life balance here.

Cons

The teams are controlled by very old people, who just settle there as if it is a government employment (People aged above 50 as developers). The managers give too much priority to those old people. Com'on Netapp... Get rid of them and not the young people. The young ones you fired recently were not performing because of these old people. Horrible pay increments and bonus. At-least for the last four years. They follow LRU algorithm for promotions... Those who got recently will only get again :-)

Pros

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Cons

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
