The experience at Netstar highlighted several organisational challenges that significantly impact both employees and customers. The workplace culture lacks cohesion and genuine employee support, which often results in low morale. Role clarity is a major issue — responsibilities are not well-defined, leading to confusion and inefficiency across teams. Leadership direction also needs improvement. Management often appears disconnected from day-to-day realities, and decision-making lacks structure and consistency. These gaps not only affect internal teams but have also been reflected in increasing customer dissatisfaction.

I feel bad for staff. Blame and favoritism are rampart, and it is the customer and employees who suffer. Besides a handful of lifers, I watched the whole company turnover in my time there taking knowledge and any momentum with them leaving new hires to figure it out themselves. They do not want domestic staff and would only employ sponsored staff if they could, who are payed below market rates and are expected to go way above and beyond. Expect to take on more work, often outside the original contracted role. I am really surprised a successful Australian business could be bought and so severely mismanaged into this chaos.
