Pros

Involved Owner Overall good culture Very cool technology that's even more relevant since covid

Cons

I was based out of the new Seattle office that had some growing pains. I'm confident a lot of these challenges have been worked out.

Pros

Many: -Education: Neurilink will often pay your way to receive industry training and encourages independent research and training. -Certification: Neurilink pays for employees to test for CTS certifications and offers guaranteed raises for ANY employee who earns CTS, CTS-I, and/or CTS-D. -Expertise: teammates are experts in their fields and are happy to share that knowledge with each other. -Collaboration: Neurilink is a dynamic and growing organization, and management is very receptive to ideas and initiatives that support that growth, as well as providing people with opportunities to lead where they have the interest. Pretty much anybody who has the ability and the interest can join the operations team and take part in company initiatives. -Accountability: teammates are held accountable for their actions and responsibilities, and are expected to act as such. When things go wrong, this creates (good) conflict which initiates change and improvement. -Fun: Nerf guns, company outings, snacks, funny customized employee mugs, and everything in between...there is never a dull moment here. -Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience, ability, and the state of Idaho. There are many ways to get raises and largely depend upon the employee and their work ethic (obtaining certifications, investing themselves into the company's operation, etc). One thing is for sure, Neurilink's management team values people, and is happy to compensate accordingly.

Cons

A few: -Youth: the company is young, and therefore not every facet of company structure is defined. For me this is actually a pro, as I love initiating structure and change. However, it can be a challenge with daily operations as complex things have to potential to get even more complex when communication breaks down or variables present themselves. That being said, our team is very skilled and operates well despite the sometimes challenging conditions inherent in our industry because they love what they do and are experts in their field. However, is should be known that management supports and encourages improvement in company structure and processes, and that teammates are intimately involved in the development and implementation of said processes. In short, we're always trying to "build a better mouse trap". -Distraction: we have an open office, so things can get a bit noisy and distracting. One way we've dealt with this is using headphones to signal to other teammates that we're busy, but that doesn't always work. Not a huge issue, but one of the downsides of a fun & interactive environment.

Pros

A family of individuals with like minded passion towards the audio visual and unified collaboration industries. Fast paced company experiencing year to year growth in the northwest, and engineering an organization that prides itself on improving their customers work flow and overall market success. A great group of employees that value hard work, creativity, and at the same time have fun in what they do from day to day. Work - Life - Integration is always focused on healthy lifestyles, family, home, as well as the family we have here at work and with our partners/customers.

Cons

Sometime the pressure of completing a project can be somewhat stressful. The team however always seems to rally together and get things done.
