Pros
Work with and for great people. Flexible work schedule. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Cons
Very low pay. 25 cent annual increase. Decision making too centralized and bureaucratized. Pay and advancement opportunities are not at all performance-based. All positions filled/advancement decisions made by centralized county human resources department who do not work in the library and who do not know employees. Too much emphasis on test score to fill full time job positions.
