Pros

Pros: -Stock in a company that has a solid product -Coffee Bar in house -Incredibly easy targets to hit -Nice office with great views -Nice, personable, interesting people overall

Cons

Cons: -Considerably lower pay than industry average. If you didn't get in before the IPO, look elsewhere! You'll likely get paid 25%-30% higher at a similar size/stage company -Toxic culture -Horrible management- can't stress that enough -One manager in middle management has made racial remarks to several people on the team, degrades employees and the company has done nothing to stop this. - Everything is for show: * Office is designed to look like Google to put on the appearance that NR is wildly successfu. Instead of buying 2 non-working iPads for each conference room, maybe you could hire more employees to scale. * Middle management consistently forces you to drop everything you are doing and complete meaningless tasks that will look good to their boss. -Plenty of Director-level employees that are truly incompetent. Our Director genuinely doesn't know how to use Salesforce or even navigate our own product. Some of those same managers typically come in at 10AM and leaves by 3PM. It is difficult to work for managers that you can't respect. -Many employees are scolded for contacting upper management/VP's/Execs. So much for being a 'flat' startup. - We have no clue where the company intends to go until the last minute. - Company values are literally never practiced. - Customers are completely in the dark on feature releases, agent updates, beta's and many other things that are vital to a ensuring that they stay happy.

Pros

New Relic truly walks the walk. I love that the company leans into a Challenger Mindset; it creates a dynamic where we are always improving and staying ahead of the curve. Even as a new hire, my perspective feels valued. Beyond the tech, the culture is unprecedented. Everyone is incredibly helpful and stays Accountable to one another. It’s rare to find a place that is this friendly while still maintaining a high bar for getting work done.

Cons

Still in the honeymoon phase, but navigating the vast amount of internal documentation can be a bit of a whirlwind during the first month; definitely feel like "drinking from a fire hose." While the team is supportive, the sheer volume of information can be overwhelming for a newcomer.

Pros

I did not find any pros during my tenure at this organisation

Cons

There’s a severe lack of clarity at almost every level — from leadership vision to day-to-day task expectations. Priorities keep shifting without proper communication, and you’re often left guessing what actually matters. What makes it worse is the work culture. It feels increasingly toxic, with blame games being more common than accountability. Instead of fostering collaboration, there’s a noticeable tendency to single people out when things go wrong. Feedback, when given, is often vague or overly critical rather than constructive. There’s also a disconnect between teams, which leads to unnecessary friction and delays. Rather than empowering employees, the environment feels draining and, at times, demotivating. Overall, it’s a place where confusion and negativity seem to outweigh growth and support.
