Pros

Decent dental benefits from parent company, though the regular medical is nothing to write home about.

Cons

NewLane is run by two bratty millionaires who came out of retirement to play manager. Despite boasting about all the ways they have to collect and analyze data, their overarching business strategy month after month is telling employees to "work harder." As others here have mentioned, there's no plan. Initiatives are started and stopped on the CEO's whim, as he often demands direct involvement and then doesn't have the time or attention to follow through. This means that not only does very little get done in the long run, it's easy to get discouraged as individual effort very rarely pays off. Despite the fact that the business effectively runs on an inside sales model, salespeople are given very little support or direction. There is very little cross channel communication between sales and other departments, meaning that salespeople are blindsided by credit denials, etc. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. This company is failing day by day due to shortsighted or nonexistent management, as so many others have mentioned. Don't work here unless you really have no other option, and even then, don't stay long. P.S I once watched the CEO offer a team of struggling salesmen $20 if they could get an app "before the end of the day." This was, no word of a lie, at 4:55 PM. The man is a walking caricature who would put Scrooge McDuck to shame.
