Pros

AMAZING CO-WORKERS, great kiddos, and lovable families!!

Cons

The company is a complete facade. It appears as a dream come true, but then their true colors shine. Management tries to keep up with ABA as a business, that they neglect their employees and depend on clients to keep the business open. The employees have to keep paper trails to hold management accountable for the blatant lies they shovel out. Staff isn’t properly trained to work with client (those who come in with little to no experience). Administration is disorganized and continues to overwork employees who show that they care and are good at their job. Employees are also punished for being great workers Those who care about the clients are treated the most unfair as management does what they need to to keep their own pockets full. Employees are expected to follow rules and expectations, but management can do just about whatever they want, with no regards to the employees or clients. Not only is employee turnover high, but as is clientele and families who become aware of the disorganization with the company as a whole. As a small business, they became too big for their britches and need to slow down and start over before go belly up.

Pros

Most of the clinical team is very compassionate and talented. There are opportunities to voice your concerns/suggestions as well as potential for growth for all team members. The work itself can be very rewarding and the clinic spaces are well stocked for the clients. The company is small and less bureaucratic, making change more achievable when the support and resources are present.

Cons

Caseload and responsibilities felt as if it was too much for one person in a clinical director role. Company continued to accept new clients without adequate team members to serve them, contributing to staffing shortages, a perceived decline in quality for clients who did receive services, and believed unfair treatment to families in need who went without ever getting services after intakes/assessments were completed. Due to staffing shortages, therapists began working with clients well before they were fully trained and senior clinical team members were acting as therapists frequently, making the ability to conduct any quality assurance measures very difficult. Lack of clinical oversight appeared to contribute to low morale and motivation of team members, likely decreasing quality even further. Inconsistent treatment of team members in terms of acknowledgment of their work/accomplishments, wage increases, and benefits. Lack of adequate transition time for most team changes and some clients who are discharged. Lack of continuing education opportunities for team members.
