Pros
-The people there mean well. My co-workers in my department are pretty friendly with one another. -Flexible/lax work hours (coming in late/staying late or coming in early/leaving early are OK). At least in sales. -Perfect place to work right out of college. Little-to-no experience is not frowned upon. -Paid licensing. -Support and training is frequent. It's meant to keep everyone informed and knowledgeable of the changes in the company/industry.
Cons
-Upper management is stuck in their ways and only care about their bottom line. -Churn-and-burn work environment. Getting burnt out and feeling unappreciated is extremely common. -Favoritism and preferential treatment is rampant. -Departments keep to themselves and don't care for other departments. It is very, very cliquey. -Transitioning to another department is a delicate balancing act. Either the transition will be smooth and natural, or strained and even blocked if management doesn't want you to move because you're effective in your current role (regardless of your feelings/needs).
