Pros
The product is great, you'll get to learn new things.
Cons
1. Lack of Leadership and Direction The company is severely mismanaged, with no clear direction or vision. Leadership is completely disconnected from the day-to-day challenges employees face, and there’s no real strategy in place. Decisions are made on a whim, and employees are left scrambling to adjust without proper guidance or support. Projects are constantly being shifted without any proper planning, and deadlines are unrealistic, causing chaos and stress.
2. Toxic Work Culture DevBytes fosters a toxic work environment where employees are overworked, underappreciated, and micromanaged. There’s a clear lack of trust from management, which leads to constant monitoring and an atmosphere of paranoia. Instead of empowering employees, they’re treated as expendable, and there’s zero focus on professional development or career growth. The high turnover rate speaks for itself – people are constantly quitting or being let go with little explanation.
3. Poor Communication Communication within the company is practically non-existent. Managers rarely provide feedback or check in on their teams. When they do, it’s often negative and delivered in an unprofessional manner. There’s also no transparency about company goals, performance, or changes in direction. You’re often left in the dark about important decisions that directly affect your work.
working at DevBytes has been an incredibly demoralizing experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values their professional and personal well-being. There are far better organizations out there that actually care about their employees and provide a healthy, supportive work environment.
