Fact based on experience: There is a large portion of the employee base that feels there is very little employee appreciation. I do also feel appreciation is scarce. NICE will do social media pushes for employees to participate in primarily to get the NICE brand elevated on social media and will give out small prizes to a small portion of employees that post about a great work life with NICE, but it seems direct appreciation is not abundant. Fact based on experience: There is more focus on the NICE image than there is on the employee. Opinion based on interactions and experience: NICE HR is not an advocate for the employee. NICE HR has been known to try and minimize employee performance to keep the performance curve within metrics that NICE abides by. Very few employees are thought to be exceptional regardless of performance, management feedback or reviews. Fact based on position experience: NICE does not pay salaries at market value or what competitors or other companies in the industry will pay. Internal promotions are capped as well. If a well performing employee wants to move to a position above what they currently have, the promotion or move will not happen if the pay increase to the new position is too much OR the salary of the new position will be decreased. NICE will take the opportunity to hire from outside the org. instead. Opinion: Very uninspiring leadership despite what posts in linkedin may state. Leaders who stand and speak about their company and employees from a queue card are not to be looked to for inspiration. Most exec public speeches contain rhetoric about how to tear down others rather than build up their own. Fact based on interaction with employees: Many employees complete internal company reviews with higher marks than they would had they trusted the company. Many employees do not feel the links to surveys reviewing life at NICE are truly anonymous.
