Pros

There are paths for progression and development for those who want it. There is a lot to learn and it can be quite interesting.

Cons

At our site in Thornton we have a huge problem with bullying, intimidation and aggressive behaviour that is being ignored despite countless complaints by many to the general manager. This seems to be due to a personal relationship that the perpetrator of these actions has with the general manager. There is also a significant amount of favouritism based on personal relationships with the top managers across the board. There have also been negative consequences for people who have stood up for themselves against this behaviour. I.e they have been let go.

Pros

Start-up environment. Great company mission.

Cons

Very narrow mindset. Very disrespectful of previous employees. It's their way or the highway. Running out of Cash. Very disorganized.

Pros

Lads working in the mill are great, as are the HGV drivers.

Cons

Management will work you like a dog with little or no care for your wellbeing. Too many breakdowns to count putting further pressure on you and your colleagues, all the while management will be sat in their office staring at you through the cameras. Little to no progression within the company except three mill technician levels, 1,2 and 3. Promised level 2 back in October 2024 for January 2025…. Still nothing by July 2025. You either won’t last long enough for level 3 or your face won’t fit . Staff sacked for petty reasons, witnessed constructive dismissal towards at least two colleagues while others can do whatever they please. Frequent visits by higher ups at Noble Foods will send the site manager into a panic and whip you into cleaning more than you’ll actually be producing feed. Nightshift you will find it’s only you and one other person on site. No management, no first aider. Any help you may receive will be on the end of a phone (provided they actually answer) All in all, working at Noble Foods for 12 hours a day can only be described as a fever dream full of paranoia and disappointment. I would rather be homeless.
