Engineering department feels very unorganized and unprofessional. There is essentially no on-boarding process for new hires, which can lead to you feeling loss for months before learning the ropes. The engineering department prides itself on having a "go-getter" culture, which only works for more tenured engineers who fully understand the system. There is a young staff which can make it feel like high school/college at times with gossip and clicks. There is little to no diversity in senior level engineering roles. There is a lot of uncertainty in what work needs to be done at any given time which can be very alarming. No 401k match for first year of employment.
