Nice city, but salaries fail to keep up - Postdoctoral Researcher Northwestern University Employee Review

There have been no cost of living raises since 2024. it is 2026. rent is going up but salaries are not and now postdocs make less than the NIH minimum. Hopefully now that the postdocs have unionized that the salary will be increased but contract negotiations are still ongoing.
