Pros

Benefits Compensation Flexibility Not a lot of micromanaging but some Appreciation - the firm overall appreciates the support it receives from staff

Cons

Senior management Unhappy employees - the dysfunction of various departments takes a toll. Incompetent sub departments Heavy vibe of discontentment Rigidity by talent management Partners need to listen and open their eyes to how bad it is.

Pros

The firm handles some engaging and high-profile matters, which could be interesting from a distance. It offers decent benefits, such as partial reimbursement for gym memberships, CLE allowances, and some flexibility with remote work.

Cons

Associates are rarely given substantive responsibility and are often kept out of the loop on client communications. There's minimal mentorship or structured training, and asking questions may be met with condescension or dismissiveness. Certain attorneys foster a culture where junior staff are made to feel inadequate for seeking guidance. The firm also has a track record of treating staff poorly, including abrupt terminations without clear justification, contributing to a high turnover rate among both associates and support staff. While it advertises a “fun” culture, the reality is a largely empty office, as most attorneys work remotely with little camaraderie or team spirit. Lastly, unlike many peer firms, Nossaman does not offer severance in cases of termination or layoffs—despite this being standard in the industry
