Pros

Fantastic hours for service industry job (8AM-3:30PM everyday), pays minimum wage but you receive an extra $15-$20/hour through tips, very high-level food consistency and quality (including 50% discount off staff meals), weekends are guaranteed to be busy netting high tip amounts, bright and positive work environment, heavy teamwork emphasis and work culture, working with peers is highly enjoyable. Great training for new severs to the industry. When I worked there, there was a balance of male and female servers. You see the owners working hard alongside you during busy periods it which is refreshing. Locally owned (and franchised)-I love supporting local businesses!

Cons

Tip pooling amongst servers, unclear/unwilling communication about how much servers are tipping out and to who, high tip-out percentage rate to managers (and owners! they are already netting a TON of money in sales, they do not need server tips on top of that!), owners will fire at-will for any reason and pay out a 10 day severance pay (this occurred to an entire team of servers, baristas, server assistants, and hosts at one location.)
