OKW does a lot -- from master planning to architectural design and interiors. Although groups have some specialization, everyone over time will work on a variety of projects, including hospitality, retail, multifamily, senior living, corporate office, and country club. The people are down to earth, fun, and have a knack for getting to know each other. Office culture is engaging or laid-back, depending on what you want out of the office. Leadership is engaged and takes professional development and mentorship to heart.

The pandemic has made social gatherings challenging, which isn't limited to just this company.

The projects that are being worked on are very cool.

There is no desire to help young employees grow and learn. Employees are expected to execute work way above their pay grade. Management is not helpful when expressing the need for help. Long hours are expected with no compensation. They are understaffed but continue to bring on more projects that are not needed. Problems are swept under the rug rather than being dealt with. The work-life balance is nonexistent if you want to work here.
